The SNARE protein Vti1b is recruited to the sites of BCR activation but is redundant for antigen internalisation, processing and presentation”, out in Frontiers in Cell and Developmental Biology (the article can be found through here), was a great collaboration effort between the group members and provides an awesome kick-off to the PhD projects of Blanca and Amna, who only started in the lab 1 year ago!
The study describes a SNARE protein Vti1b in the internal membranes, particularly the Golgi, of B cells with response and enrichment to the sites of BCR activation.
Massive congratulations to all involved!
